Our Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) encourages all parents, new and current, to take an active part in their children’s education. All parents are eligible to join the P&C and we always welcome fresh energy and ideas to help build on the school’s success.

Our Coolnwynpin P&C plays a vital role in the school. These roles include but are not limited to:

  • fostering general community interest in educational matters

  • facilitating closer co-operation between parents, staff and students

  • providing advice and recommendations to the Principal on issues and concerns in respect of students and the general operation and management of the School

  • providing financial or other resources or services for the benefit of students.

The P&C contributes to the annual school planning process. The P&C helps shape and guide future planning and contribute financially to a range of initiatives which are rolled out across the school. Each year the P&C raise these funds through a number of the fundraising activities including spellathon, trivia night, Cool Walkings and school discos. The committee actively seek opportunities to bring the school community together.

The P&C supports parents through a variety of services, such as The Cool School Koala Cafe (tuckshop) and the second hand uniform store. These are offered by the P&C to provide items at competitive prices for school families.

The P&C meets once a month, usually on the third Monday of each month, from 6:30pm.

Meetings are held at the Capalaba Sports Club. This an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss school matters with other parents and our Principal.

We look forward to welcoming you at our next meeting.
